Starting hordes with Legion of everblight!

I split the starter box with thewarhost a little wile ago so now I have Lylyth, Herald of everblight a carnivean four shredders and a full unit of Blighted ogrun warspears. I am really looking foward to painting these up as close as I can to the studio army

as you can see there are some difficult transitions to make but there is not to much of a time press on this so It should be interesting to see what I come up with.
  

10 more boys

I started on 10 more boys during the power outage caused by hurricane sandy. What was done was by the light of my lantern so there is a lot of cleanup needed but that is ok.

Devastator squad 2 finished

Finished up the last member to the squad.  So on to the next project!

Devastator squad 2 part 2

finished two more for the squad the one oddity in this squad  is the markings the one shoulder shows the arrow for a tactical squad. This was due to both it being molded on the one guys shoulder and also because they will rarely be fielded in the devastator squad and when called upon will be swaped into the tactical squads as needed to save points.

The Beast-09 finished

Got this guy done so now I am painted and ready for 25 point matches. Well technically I have 34 points painted if I add back into the army the destroyer I dropped. So getting up there points wise. Its also interesting to paint everything I get for an army as I get it. Makes me sad to see so much 40K stuff with no paint in my 40K collection.

These khador warjacks are a blast to paint after you get going. Right now I would say he is about half done.

Tau Ethereal

This poor guy.... he looks cool and its neat to have some one from a different tau class on the battle field but he never was worth running game wise. From what I have herd about people are actually jumping them off buildings to try to kill them in game so that the rest of the tau can get preferred enemy and that is just not right.

Iron clad dreadnought

Well seance I have bean fooling with plastic card lately I thought I should finish up a project that has been shuffled around my table for years. Next step painting.... I am sure it will be done any time now...

Tau Sniper drones

I never had a chance to use these to much back when i played but i liked the idea enough to buy a unit and paint it up. they had the stealth rule so they got the darker version of my paint scheme like my stealth suits. With the new rules for snipers picking who they hit with there shots these might be worth fielding now but I don't see it it happening seance they compete with hammer heads and broadsides for the heavy slots sadly.

Warboss in mega armor!

This project was inspired by WarTeacher  and his excellent conversion. I never loved the warboss from the starter box. So I had intended to replace him at one point or another. This was just a little earlier then I expected. He is intended to represent cybork body mega armor a combe scorcha and attack squig. not sure how i can justify that last one but we can just assume the mek added more speed to the klaw with all thows big hydraulics.
