A new tool! somthing for all of us that use plastic card

 I am not dead just really busy I assure you. But in my travels I just found this video on "spin welding"  and thought there was great possibility with it for our hobby efforts. I think this will be really great for sloppy ork constructions or for high stress joints like the legs of my titan. You would just have to hide the welds on the legs or sand them to clean them up but it looks to be much stronger then a normal glued connection

Adeptus Custodes landraider Part: III

 As i started to paint this project it struck me how much it still looked like a standard landraider and in general it was not ornamented enough. After much thought I decided to copy the shrine idea from Dave tailors army that was the inspiration for this small army in the first place but done my own way.  

This is what I came up with over the last few days of tinkering. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do.

This is the 3ed one i tried I think the thicker barrel helps but it is still wrong. I will have have to re do them all when i finally work out the best conversion I can do.

Iron clad dreadnought

Well seance I have bean fooling with plastic card lately I thought I should finish up a project that has been shuffled around my table for years. Next step painting.... I am sure it will be done any time now...

Warboss in mega armor!

This project was inspired by WarTeacher  and his excellent conversion. I never loved the warboss from the starter box. So I had intended to replace him at one point or another. This was just a little earlier then I expected. He is intended to represent cybork body mega armor a combe scorcha and attack squig. not sure how i can justify that last one but we can just assume the mek added more speed to the klaw with all thows big hydraulics.

Tau O'shova conversion

I never got around to finishing off this conversion But a lot of things went well and I think that he looks a lot better then standard suits. I do wish I had finished making a blade for him there were 2 different ones on the past but I was never happy with them so they never got glued on.

Tau heavy Weapon

This was a heavy weapon conversion based off of and idea i got from the old forum  Kovash_Tauva. I thought about adding in some human auxiliary's in the form of some imperial guardsmen to the army at one point and using him as a heavy bolter or something for them but it never happened. The shield bit was supposed to be an anti grav device to support the weapon.

adeptus custodes landraider progress

I finally made some progress on my take on Dave Tailors adeptus custodes landraider from white dwarf 300. One day I may even finish it....

this is the original I am sure some of you will know of it all ready tho.

 

Tau medical drone

 

This is a Tau medical drone I made up at one point when some one came up with the idea on Kovash_Tauva witch was a Tau forum back when i used to play them it seems to have disbanded some time ago . I never really did any thing with this model but it was a fun concept.

Zone mortis board part: III

No earth shattering progress on this but I made some cut outs of an Aquila and sprayed them on to some of the larger blank spots and thought they looked nice

Slaves from clan rats finished

 I posted about the first 10 of these guys as one of the earliest posts on this blog today my brother in law was finally ready to start painting skaven again so i went at choping the last 30 of these guys down and green stuffing them  

 This is the full unit of 40 finished they are all the rats from the fantasy starter box

Zone mortis board part: II

Well there is not a lot of progress but these 7 board sections are at least sprayed there base colors. I need to stop by the hardware store and get some cheep 1" brushes before i start to hand paint them so they are getting put off a bit but the will start to look finished soon

Terrain refurbishment part Four

Some trim has helped add a bit to these very old buildings I think I will punch out some rivets to add on to the trim. Also I believe it needs some cracks in the walls and perhaps some built holes before paint. But the pile of junk in the center is still me favorite part of this piece it is just not 100% game friendly as guys don't all wise stand easily on it. You can't win em all tho.
