Khador Battle Mechaniks part: 2 finished
so my mechaniks are finished, the skin is a little pale but all in all I am happy with it. I really need to find my self a can or really a few cans of testers dull coat to take the shine off of these guys and a lot of the other stuff I have painted over the last few months. The problem is my local hobby shop has not had it in on the few occasion I have stopped in so I may need to start looking for a new place to source my flat sealer.

Three Winter guard infantry Rocketeer's
I knocked out these 3 guys today to finish off my "winter guard death star".
The theme lists for Sorscha all call for winter guard so haveing a huge maxed out unit it not only good for in game but rather fluffy as well. At some point I will pick up a second unit so that i can build her higher tier lists but for now at the point levels I have played at this unit will take care of my needs.

Khador Conquest part: VI
AH all finished, With this completed I have reached over my goal of 50 points of Khador for the year tho I do still have a few more pieces stashed away in case I get the urge to paint something for the army.
Any way I went light on the highlighting for the most part but tried to give it a little depth before adding the weathering. For that I sponged on black and also boltgun metal. To top it off I used my stippeling brush to add some light brown weathering pigment made from some cheep artist's pastels. A lot of the brown was blown off when sealing the model but it was kinda heavy any way so it all worked out.

Khador Conquest part: V
This should be the last post before I finish this project up. It took a long time to get all the color on and paint all the rivets the only other model that is as bad or worse is the bainblade tank. Still it is satisfying to get something so large painted.

Khador Conquest part: IV
Painting large models is certainly time consuming but hear is the bit of progress I have made recently I am up to the shade of red I like so I just need some highlights and the red will be done. Still lots to get finished but a few more sessions and we should be all ready for the tabletop.

Kovnik Jozef Grigorvich part: III
Finished up I am not totally happy with the face but he looks nice on the table so It's time to move on to something else. I can come back at a latter time when I think of a way to improve him.

Kovnik Jozef Grigorvich part: II
Much progress made on the jacket I am really liking the Vallejo paints the more I use them the more I enjoy them. With the proper cut of flow-aid they are fantastic to work with. They are much more glossy they GW paint but the sealer coat should give them the finish I want.

Kovnik Jozef Grigorvich part: I
I started laying down the base coat on kovnik joe in mostly the standard design for him but I went with white trim instead of the normal black to make him stand out a bit more on the table.
Of note on him is the red tho. I just about ran out of red some time ago with my Conquest and landraider projects and decided to try something new. The red on his jacket is vallejo Scarlett red I have wanted to try out Vallejo paints for years.
I am loving the dropper bottles they come in. Also that for 1$ less them the GW paints you get 1/3 more. But none of that matters unless the paint work as well. So far I am on the fence they do coat well but I think the GW stuff has a slight edge in that department. But still need a bit more experience with them to come to a final conclusion regarding what I will go with from hear on out.
