Landraider #2 Part: II

A few steps closer to done but a long way to go.

Landraider #2 Part: I

So far I have spent most of my time trying to get nice flat yellow and white armor panels. I had painted the details boltgun at one point but they all need to be redone now that I went over with several more layers  of yellow.

Vanguard Veterans Part: I

This is not a unit I see my self playing much and the weapons I have on them are certainly not the  best choices as you will see when they are finished. But It should be interesting to toss them in occasionally.

Aegis defense line part: III

It took longer then I thought it would but I just finished up the Aegis defense line. The only thing that I am not happy with is that it is nothing special like 40kaddict , scionsofterra , spyrle or terragenesis

Perhaps I need to do something for the orks

Vampire Counts hero

In an effort to finish up some old projects I cleaned up and finished my vampire hero "the countess" she is in charge of the smaller outrider forces for my vampire counts army when the coven throne is just to big to be in charge.  Now I just need to do some necromancers to work under her....

Aegis defense line part: II

This is kinda a light post but I thought I would still show you what I did today. I finished one more large section of the wall and did up the turret for the in placement. I think the different shade of yellow helps it stand out nicely from the rest.  

Aegis defense line part: I

I started on the aegis defense line today I am shooting for simple.

1. spray yellow
2. paint all the beams boltgun
3. gray then white on the Aquilas
4. wash in nuln oil
5. some of the bolt heads get a little blazing orange under them to look like rust
6. paint the wires khorne red or fenris gray same with any buttons  

10 more boys part two

Not a ton of progress but I am all most done the first layer on all 10 of them.  A few more sessions and they will be fit to fight.

Dakkajet part: V

I think I finally need to call this project finished. It  will never win awards for painting but I think it feels like I want it to. Time to get back to painting boys I think.

Geting closer to finished with my dakka jet but it is still not 100% right

Scout Titan progress

I added on the trim to the shoulder and some of the top center bits today. One day I will get this done and paint it up but at this rate that might still be a wile away.

Small Coven Throne update

Small progress is still progress so with that out of the way hear is a small update to my coven throne. 

Warriors of chaos Valkia the bloody

As you can see this is not the new model that games workshop released a wile ago.

That is the new one but as I have all ready put some significant time and effort into my conversion I think I will just paint the one I have. But I do think I will try to imitate the sachem that the studio used on her as opposed to just doing what ever I was up to at this point.
