I started painting the Coven Throne today. I most certainly have never painted anything with this much detail it is a bit over whelming. so i started simple and put boltgun on the armor of the spirit horde that pulls it then washed them all in a mix of thraka green and asurmen blue. I think I will do one more light wash of straight asurmen blue before I go back after the high spots in white.
Lookin' sharp. That wash is a good looking mix for the spirits. I'd water the white way down and use a bunch of thin coats; white always thwarts my efforts to use it as a highlight. Anyway, looks great!
